Warning Bogus & Fake Telephone Computer Calls
A new scam in Huddersfield area involving bogus telephone calls claiming to be from Microsoft Services, BT or some other company. These calls are from individuals claiming that your computer has a virus and they need remote access to solve the problem. They then access your computer looking to steal your identity and or planting secret software to get your usernames or passwords. Put the phone down on them do not allow them access, they are fake/bogus - how would they know you have a virus on your computer?

This nasty piece of software or similar will not be picked up by an anti-virus software and will render your PC almost un-useable. A demand for monies to cure the problem will result in you giving them your card details and planting software on your computer to give them access to your account, names and passwords even key logging.
